Who receives help from KM Care & Share?
Anyone can apply for assistance from KM Care & Share.  

Working with our local SEMCAC office, as well as other county offices, applicants are screened based on their needs and available funds.

Why should I get involved with KM Care & Share?
The fact is, any one of us could need the support of KM Care & Share at some point during our lives.  A house fire, flood or family in need of heating assistance --  are just a few examples of ways that KM Care & Share has helped in the past and has dedicated itself to helping in the future. 

How much of my donation goes to "administration costs"?
This answer is simple - 0%

KM Care & Share Board members and Auction organizers VOLUNTEER their time as their commitment to the community. 

How does KM Care & Share support itself?
KM Care & Share holds an annual charity auction event which has been the cornerstone of this organization since the beginning. 

From the first event, with only a handful people present, the KM Care & Share Charity Auction has continued to grow into one that is now attended by hundreds of community members.

The auctions (live & silent) also feature a dinner with proceeds often donated to KM Care & Share. 

2006 was a banner year for KM Care & Share raising nearly $30,000 for program funding.

KM Care & Share has many behind the scenes donors who give of their time and money to make sure that K-M Care & Share is there in the future to help others.  From local business owners, community leaders, and citizens we are truely a Network of Neighbors. 

KM Care & Share also maintains a relationship with the Kasson Chamber of Commerce who provide advertising and sponorship funds to promote events throughout the year.

What does KM Care & Share have in store for the future?
KM Care & Share is always looking to the future.  With rising costs everywhere you turn, there will always be a need to fill.  
KM Care & Share is constantly looking for ways to improve and grow with the community.  Holding more fundraisers and involving more volunteers is one way to fill more community needs.  A commitment of "neighbors helping neighbors" was made in 1982 and that commitment will not change as we head into the future.
